Nightime tournaments are still prohibited because of the low water levels and boating hazards. Lake Lanier would need to rise another 8 feet for the Corp of Engineers to change nightime fishing.

 Lake Lanier is now at 1056 feet which is five feet higher than this time last year. This should help many lake-home owners who currently have their homes on Lake Lanier for sale. Currently their are over 150 homes with docks for sale on Lake Lanier, less than 20 are under contract, and the most of the ones that are pending a sale are foreclosures! Now may not be the time where you will see the highest return on you dollar if you are selling a home on Lake Lanier. But now is the time to buy a home on Lake Lanier!!
